When I ploughed on regardless, asking Harry if he had met Caroline’s family yet, he tried to change the subject - by joking that he was secretly dating bandmate Louis Tomlinson.

So the “confirmation" of Harry’s and Caroline’s relationship at the end of 2011 was actually just Harry saying they were good friends and that he was secretly dating Louis?

HILARIOUS. Especially since they were working so damn hard for 2 weeks before the tour to make this look “legit." Meaning she wore his scarf around London one day, he supposedly slept at her place one night (with Nick Grimshaw) and then she was at Harry & Louis’ place the next night, then she dropped Harry off at the train station so he could go to the show in Watford the 18th. This article was the 22nd! So 4 days after the carefully orchestrated drop-off in front of the paps, Harry’s saying they’re good friends and “joking" that he’s dating Louis. Got it.

Yes, the word “girlfriends” belongs in quotation marks. These “girlfriends” seem to really know how to play the game! Give the people a little public hand holding, a little public smooch, a photo op, and then go away.

You see, just because a “couple” is traveling the U.S.A doesn’t mean that they are traveling together. It’s a big country, kids, and much of the time they are not in the same city or state… or even traveling in the same direction!

Especially not this couple. They look like they are together. But they really aren’t. And they are very tired of each other. Lots of bickering and complaining taking place in private. They won’t make it to the end of the year as a “couple”.
